Comment 12 Roy The problem I am encountering is a bug in the BIOS of this notebook series that only occurs when "hybrid Asus K93SV Notebook VGA not to be confused with Optimus is turned off in the BIOS setup utility. I can see from Nvidia Inspector that it runs at 95c to c celcius when it runs 3dMark To my knowledge this is hot, but not nescessarily where it starts affecting performance. Someting is, though: Hopefully actully knows, rather than "I think it's too hot" At one hand I can't think of anything else than a hardware failure.

It performs very well for my needs together with the integrated Intel HD graphics. Video playback is really smooth, the 18 inch screen with the splendid function totally satisfy my taste. Keyboard layout is also very good, I can type with ease and the controls are pretty much complete.
