Remove the Top Palm Rest Assy 1. Remove 1 screw on the right corner of the top case front side.

Then open the metal hole latch by a screw driver. Disconnect the touch pad FPC. Asus G53SX up the top palm rest assy and take it away.
Remove HDD Module 1. Remove 9 screws as below on the top case.

It neither gets too warm during use or becomes uncomfortable to use after Asus G53SX prolonged period of time. The lights toggle is especially useful; with one press Asus G53SX the button, you can turn off all of the lights, including some annoying status lights though the status lights on the front of the computer remain on. The multitouch trackpad is on the small side, Asus G53SX discrete mouse buttons that are ever-so-slightly difficult to press. The G53SX's Color representation on this screen was excellent, and images looked very clear and crisp, with none of the "softness" that often characterizes matte screens.
Asus G53SX Off-axis viewing remained good, and there was virtually no glare. Cable number 2 is the much smaller power cable that provides light to your keyboard.
