Nothing worked. So I tried googling for a solution, and it seems that others were having the exact problem I was having, and the people offering solutions apparently don't actually have the board, and only suggested stuff like AMD SB700 AHCI RAID F6 floppy or creating a slipstream installation disc.
All of which I've already tried without success. It couldn't copy the driver from floppy which is worked some minutes ago with "original" install disk it's not really original because of the slipstreamed sp3. Next I have retry install from CD - for sure - it's working as before, the disk is good for sure.
Is it possible that from point of copy it lookup inf file? What is going on. Any more ideas?
I had the lack of inspiration to check that too instead of simply ignoring raidd, like I usually do with Bing Desktop and Silverlight. I have the same problem.
I was set. Before getting into what happened, I should mention that as part of having a video editing rig, my scratch disk is a RAID 0 hanging off the south bridge.
Intel's south bridges have, in my experience, offered excellent RAID quality. When you're editing high-definition video, you really do need as much storage performance as you can AMD SB700 AHCI RAID get so that your hard drives don't bottleneck the processor. A single drive often won't cut it, but a RAID 0 can help shorten render times tremendously.
Also, Windows 7 required a driver installation to detect my optical drive.
